The Dream Garden: Part 2

Click on the video below to hear me read my blog aloud.

Welcome back, I'm kind of surprised to find you here. Most people tend to flee when they begin to talk about their dreams, it becomes scary or seem impossible, so why start? I'll tell you why, because you'll regret it for the rest of your life. You'll ask yourself, "Why didn't I start when I was younger?", "What if what I have to offer is no longer relevant at this time?", "What if no one buys my work?" All good questions, but we are past the 'What if' portion of our journey, now we move on and get our dreams growing! So we have planted our dreams, nice and deep and watered them, now we need some sunlight. Sunlight generates the energy needed to produce nutrients, so if water keeps our dreams ever before us then sunlight will give us the energy/the motivation we need to keep our dreams alive. A little give and take you know, like give your dream the time and effort it deserves and in return you'll get what you need. Whether that's doing something you love outside of your day to day or making some money or simply having an excuse to hide from your kids for a couple hours. Anyways I believe we have finally caught up to those who have previously planted their dream gardens, but before we go on, lets say a little prayer that God will allow our dreams to take root and flourish! That HE will guide us on when to water and how to trim our dreams, because with him our garden is sure to blossom beyond belief. Its a win-win really! Ok so our plant, I mean our dream has now sprouted up and we're done, right? Wrong! So wrong! Come on people its never that easy, unless it is. Beside the point just because our dream has sprouted up doesn't mean its never going to need a little help, I mean that's what those little support sticks are for. Its ok to ask for help and its ok to accept help. Don't let your dream die because of pride or fear, you've worked way too hard for that. Now that we have an understanding, its like shampooing your hair, you know, wash, rinse, repeat. That is what we'll do, we will repeatedly keep our dreams before us and give them plenty of our energy and support they need. Then when the time comes and our dreams can no longer fit in that cute little hanging pot, then we'll move it and let nature take its course where it will stand on its own. Now at this point we can either add on and grow more of the same dream or start a new dream or and lets not be selfish, we could help someone else start their dream garden! How exciting would that be?! Ok so I guess I'm asking a lot, lets just start with our own and see from there. Good luck and adios for now!
